Although not a true White Mage or Black Mage in the sense of the WOL. Auri'a has trained in the art of Aetherial Manipulation starting at the age of 8. Allowing them to hone their craft over both Umbral and Astral aspects.
Abilities
Visions of Aether
Auri'a, through practice and craft of their own, has developed an ability to channel aether through their eyes. This allows them to see other's Aether. Whether that be an enemies usage of it, or where an ally falls short. It is especially effective in finding specific points of injury to focus healing magicks.
Aetheric Conductor
Auri'a has created and laid multiple tattoos across their body, allowing them to channel/weave their own aether much more effectively. It also allows them so manner of manipulation on surrounding aether.
Eureka's Grasp
Being born in such close proximity to the primal Eureka, Auri'a was partially tempered at birth. Given that, Auri'a is able to mimic Eureka and create short-lasting Aether weapons.
Background
Auri'a grew up an orphan in Old Shalayan after their parents were killed in an accident with the primal Eureka. They were adopted by Galuf Baldesion and spent a majority of their younger years with Krile. Instead of joining the Students of Baldesion, Auri'a instead choose to become an Archon and joined the settlers of Idyllshire (né Sharlayan). Auri'a mainly honed their craft and delved further into the art of Aetherial Manipulation.
When the Sharlayan exodus took place in 1562, Auri'a remained in Dravania. If they returned to Sharlayan, they would no longer have access to the materials and experiences the main land could provide. In an act of desperation, Auri'a stole many key journals and papers on Aetherial Manipulation and fled to east to Coerthas. Upon arriving at Ishgard, they were able to gain citizenship with the help of Haurchefant Greystone and the Atheneum Arcaneum. They would still keep close contact with Matoya and Krile and be one of the only other people with access to the Antitower.Auri'a set up a small shop in Foundation (Ishgard) where they sold books and baubles. During this time the would remain in regular contact with Haurchefant and develop a romantic relationship with him throughout their early twenties. They would both mutually agree to end their relationship, but remained close.
